Sr Engineer (Mechanical Development Verification Test for Drive and Component)
About Our Group
Mechanical Development Verification Test (mDVT) will support mechanical design change validation, FA (Failure analysis) and qualify at the M2 level (Maturity Level 2) for equipment development and component test.
We work closely with the Mechanical Design team at Normandale, USA and Asia for support test experiments and deliver summary results.
About The Role You Will :
Validate and Qualify mechanical design change at the M2 level (Maturity Level 2)Support experiment test for mechanical relatedIdentify test gaps / opportunity and coordinate development with Mechanical Design team / Characterization and analytics group (CAG) team and lead to change / implementManage and control turnaround time to meet the targetDeliver experiment result with a high qualityMotivate and encourage team members to execute tasks effectively and balance / prioritize workforcesApply document or presentation technique to improve communication effectiveness
Good in logical thinkingCapable of conducting research and apply new knowledge from many sourcesReady to learn and understand new technologyEffectively plan, control and take responsibility for assignmentAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environmentExcellent in English communication both spoken and written
Your Experience Includes :
Good knowledge of Electronic, electrical and physics5 years+ experience in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing, FA (Failure analysis), Six Sigma and Minitab backgroundEffectively understand and interpreting statistical dataKnowledge in analysis skills, problem-solving tools and decision makingSQL (Structured Query Language), Statistical Software Jump (JMP) and PythonTest Equipment (Gemini, Spin Stand Test, Wave C, Auto Contact Detect Response (ACDR) and Vena)
