EDMS

The Service Delivery Manager works within Enterprise Data and Managed Services (EDMS) in Group Enterprise, NCS and is equipped with ITIL / ITSM, gathering business and / or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test and implement systems in accordance with the specifications and service level.

Responsibilities

  • Aligning or enhancing ITSM / ITIL methodologies in daily operations such as change, incident, problem and release management
  • Monitoring and measuring the performance and availability of systems proactively
  • Implementing corrective actions identified to improve performance and service level availability
  • Responding promptly to incident, root cause analysis and providing temporary and / or permanent resolution of incidents escalated
  • Providing timely status updates to relevant parties
  • Ensuring service level is met
  • Proposing and implementing action plan as and when required
  • Implementing service continuity measures, i.e., backup / restore procedures and disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all facility management operations
  • Preparing proposals and solution presentations
  • Managing a large diversified full fledge IT team, ranging from helpdesk, desktop, operators, systems, network, middleware, database engineers
  • Attaining key certifications for partnership with key vendors
  • Technical project management experience and mentor to junior team lead and engineers
  • On 24x7 standby
  • Leading and managing database changes through change request process
  • Provide status reports to the relevant parties
  • Leading, monitoring and measuring the performance and availability of databases proactively
  • Implementing corrective actions identified to improve performance and availability
  • The ideal candidate should possess

  • Degree in IT or related discipline with at least 10 years of experience in system or network, service delivery and project management
  • Experience working in 24x7 environment
  • Experience in supporting public sector in IT operations
  • Team player and ability to lead
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP or CITPM certification
