Scope of the role :
This position is requires you to hunt, identify and win business opportunities from brand new customer base.
You will seek to understand the customer’s needs, promote and sell BDP’s services and solutions accordingly to develop new customer opportunities and materialize into revenue for the company.
Your target is gross profit.
An understanding of the local market trends and competition faced in our industry will be vital to your success. You will contribute to shape strategies and tactics of the sales organisation to further gain market share for BDP.
You act as a critical link between the customer and the company. Hence you can expect to work with Operations and key functional departments to design and deliver the sold services and solutions.

Review and discuss pricing with appropriate product, pricing and operations departments
Participate and support RFQs completion
Present solutions and pricing proposals to customers
Develop Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) together with internal department and customer as required
Establish strong rapport and Build Trust with Customers to keep existing business
Penetrate the account through further understanding of the needs and providing appropriate solutions
Manage and monitor Customers’ KPIs and SLAs as necessary
Prepare and present monthly / quarterly business reviews as required
Work closely with global sales teams to grow deeper relationships with the customer on a global basis
Customer Relationship Management
Input and Update Salesforce for all sales activities and opportunities
Leverage on Salesforce to execute push-pull strategy with the global sales teams

Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
University degree or post-graduate qualification preferred
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in relevant industries, preferably in freight forwarding
Good Established Track Record
Good Microsoft Office Skills Proficiency including Word, Excel and PowerPoints
Ability to build strong customer rapport and gain breakthrough success with building customer relationships
Strong communications skills with the ability to interface and relate to the different cultures within organization and cultures
Ability to frame customers in leading them to see the value of the company’s services and solutions
Ability to create and present customer presentations with confidence and ease
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
