Job Summary and Responsibilities
To develop and foster a positive image and relationship between the hotel and the public, i.e. vendors, suppliers, guests, clients and the community.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications and public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the hospitality industry, at a 5 star level will be a distinct advantage.
A comprehensive knowledge of the commercial aspects of a hotel and its segments, in order to produce effective, consumer and trade plans.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media or associated PR agencies on retainer.
Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
